There are times when you simply want to know the name of the system you’re working on. but you really don't know how. but command prompt is the one of the powerful tool to determine the system name with host name. to identify your system host name follow the steps below.
- Open Command prompt
- write hostname e.g
- c:\>hostname
- The hostname command doesn’t have any switches.
